A community event at Backwell Junior School to promote creativity and raise money for people that are important to us!
And this year our boutique festival is being held to mark the end of a week of 150th Anniversary celebrations at Backwell Junior School.
All funds raised will go to the Anniversary Appeal Fund for the redevelopment of the original 1862 building. The school specifically wishes to create a small group of learning spaces, office and welfare facilities.
As ever, Backwell Festival offers a variety of entertainment for all ages. In addition to the main stage, we have an accoustic stage to showcase performers unplugged. We are also mixing it up with new sounds and the best of local young musical talent too.
This, of course, is not just a music festival, but a great day of family entertainment. Magician Jezza Screen is back by popular demand, along with circus skills, face painting, nail art and tatoos. And all this entertainment is included in the price of your ticket.
Although this is a safe environment for children, we do expect parents to take responsibility for the children they bring with them.
The Beer Tent, Pimms Pergola and Kids Bar will be open all day – we will have a BBQ in the afternoon and our favourite Hog Roast specialists will be open for business in the evening.
