Jenny Chandler, UN Ambassador for Pulses, cook, writer, food blogger and prime mover in the recent British Dal Festival.
Jenny is somewhat obsessed with how amazingly versatile, nutritious and economic pulses actually are! She believes families should cook together and shares her passion for lentils through special cookery sessions in schools. Jenny will be assisted by her daughter.
Elliott Lidstone, Head Chef at BOX-E, Wapping Wharf, Bristol.
Elliott was previously head chef of the Michelin-starred L’ortolan, before spending four years at the Empress in East London, earning himself two AA rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand. He currently creates amazing recipes for food lovers at his highly popular shipping container restaurant by Bristol’s harbourside.
Rana Dildar Singh, charismatic lead singer of RSVP Bhangra
Dildar will cook one of his favourite family Indian recipes, while talking about the importance of food in Indian culture, reminiscing about the sub-continent and probably singing some traditional songs – ask him for a song!! Then he will make a mad dash to the main stage where he will be picking up the microphone for RSVP Bhangra and getting you to JUMP! We love this guy!
