An evening with Tony Robinson – SOLD OUT!
Much-loved actor, presenter and author, Sir Tony Robinson, comes to Backwell on Friday September 8th 2017, for an evening of funny, self-deprecating humour. His personal timeline leads from child star to iconic sidekick, Baldrick, to archaeological voyeur, with a sprinkling of merry men and a lot of risk taking along the way.
Our very own David Lloyd, who actually played one of the Sheriff’s henchmen in Tony’s sitcom, Maid Marian and Her Merry Men, will be leading the conversation with Tony. There will also be an audience Q & A session.
Tony’s life has been full of incident and insight, and this is a very special chance to meet the man who has brought us so much joy and entertainment over the years, and to get a signed copy of his autobiography, No Cunning Plan.
We can offer you a substantial discount on his book if you pre-order through Backwell Festival by August 30th. These pre-ordered books will be available for collection at the venue on the night so Tony can sign them with a personal inscription.
Tony Robinson Ticket– price is £10 each – suitable for 16+ only.
Advance book order, No Cunning Plan, is £5.50 (rrp is £8.99).
Date: Friday September 8th 2017 at 7.30. There is a bar. Venue: Backwell School Sixth Form Theatre.
